The sales that we usually attend are the October and February United Auctions Perth sales at Stirling and the May Harrison Hethrington sale at Carlisle.
We have just got back from the February Perth bull sales where we and the breed as a whole had a fantastic couple of days. Congratulations to Donald Biggar in securing a new sale record for Chapelton Dauphin, a tremendous bull sold to Jane Landers fo Dumfriesshire.
Lowther Capri 272 was female champion and sold at 4,000 Guineas to J and D Haigh, North Willingham, Market Rasen.
Lowther Dynamite was first in class and reserve intermediate champion selling at 8,500 Guineas to Antrim Estates, Northern Ireland.
